I know actions speak louder -
That’s why people want to see the Pope tattooed !

I’ll be getting a couple, but want to do it in a state where the parlors are regulated, so will be doing it later.

Would have had them before now, but serious indecision over what to get coupled with husband and mom not being too keen on the idea made me hold off.

I don’t like them myself and voted no, but I guess I have to rethink that because I am getting permanent makeup and they tattoo that on - eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color. I also have eyelash extensions. Yes, I am a vain person. It’s one of my faults.

I’m sure that wouldn’t be approved of under the vow of poverty, most people seem proud of their Tatoos ,it’s a personal thing .If a priest was asked to have a Tatoo it would either be like having a personal effect or like being branded in the name of something .

On the other hand, I just saw a short video of a Brazilian tattoo artist who used hypoallergenic inks to match the original skin tone and cover up scars, stretch marks, etc. Interesting.

Diocesan priests don’t make a vow of poverty, so they would be allowed the “personal affect” of a tattoo, unless their bishop specifically forbade it.

If I ever get a tattoo, it will have to mean something that will last a lifetime.

I’ve considered getting a tattoo to honor my family, and the joy of being my son’s mom.

I’ve also considered getting a semi-colon tattoo.
"The semicolon tattoo meaning: It states that the optional semicolon continues a sentence rather than ending one like an abrupt period.

“Therefore, each human being is the author that chooses to keep the sentence (life) going on. Many individuals struggling with depression, self-harm and other ailments can embrace the semicolon.”

I’m a regular blood donor…if I ever got a tattoo, I’d have to wait a year to donate again…

I’m waiting for the tee shirt emblazoned across the front; “I went to the Vatican and all I got was this stupid tattoo.”

Number 1 on my list of tattoos that I would get, if I were to ever get a tattoo, would be “Do not resuscitate” across my chest, perhaps with a “DNR” in a red circle and a red slash thru it.

I know a couple of diabetics that have “Diabetic” tattooed on their forearm. Personally I will stick with the Med Alert bracelet. No tats for this guy.
When I worked with delinquent teens there was one kid that was crying up a storm that he could not get a date for the prom.
He got mad at me when I pointed out the tattoo of a swastika on his forehead probably had something to do with it.
Believe or not that kid got his act together, got rid of that tat, and even finished college.

There are seven deadly sins…

Out of curiousity…how would you rank them, concerning yourself…
Number one being most you…and number seven, not so important -

That - would be your vanity profile 🤭
