Tattoos and the Priesthood

What are the Church’s guidelines regarding preists who have tattoos? If you don’t have an answer to that question, would you please share your thoughts if your parish were to have a new pastor who had tattoos?

The Church doesn’t have guidelines about tattoos. I don’t think it would be a problem. At some point a Bishop or superior might ask you to have them removed but I don’t think it would be an obstacle to becoming a priest.
