Tattoos, piercings, and breast enhancements

Yes, I’ve wondered the same thing. Will a tatoo that somebody thinks looks so great today look the same in 30 or 40 years? I remember seeing old soldiers from WWII with tatoos they’d gotten when they were young and they were “blurry blobs” as you said. And things change, people change. You might think you’ll see things the same way all your life but I can guarantee that you won’t. I’m in my 40s now and I for darn sure don’t see things the same as I did in my 20s. Thank goodness I didn’t get a tatoo back then because I’m sure it wouldn’t have the same meaning for me and I’d hate it!
I don’t agree with all kinds of piercings either but at least with a piercing you can let it close up when you’re tired of it.:o
 
My husband has a cross tattooed on his forearm. He got it done the day he turned eighteen. I’m wanting a butterfly (symbol of the resurrection) on my shoulder blade. 🙂

You raised some good points. I guess it is an “era” that dictates. Many young girls, under 25 or 30 have low self esteem. What do they get? They go for “Tramp Stamps” a/k/a lower back tattoos. Maybe not today so much, but a few, maybe 5 or 10 years ago they were to get those if possible. I’m sure some could post how strung out they were but some saved up with money to burn to get one. I guess they felt really kewl to have one.

You raise a good point as well: you really can’t control the association that goes with any particular tattoo style. Think about all of the lower back tattoos that are now known as tramp stamps. I doubt many of the women who got lower back tattoos saw that one coming. Tattoo designs go in and out of style and what you once thought was a beautiful and unique design can really take on a totally different meaning in 5-10 years.

Or you might just get a really bad design to begin with. Just look at all of the chinese gibberish that gets tattooed on people who don’t know any better. One of my friends has the classic example of this. The characters are mirror images of how they are supposed to be written, and even if they were written correctly, his tattoo would still have absolutely no meaning in chinese. I would hate to have to pay for expensive removal or live with a tattoo I hate.
 
Breast implants are NOT necessarily sinful.

Sometimes they are desired in order to give a woman a more ‘normal’ appearance, as
when she is far below normal size. This can be a morale booster for HER, improving her outlook on both herself and her life. How about after a mastectomy? Same thing, IMO.

What is wrong with small breasts? And breast enhancements seem like a sorry “morale booster” to me. Why are women encouraged to base their sense of value on their looks? How shallow.
 
Breast enhancements- Acceptable when they are RECONSTRUCTIVE or when the breasts are abnormally out of proportion to each other. (Ex. left breast is a C cup and right breast is A cup.)

In my opinion, natural A cups or smaller don’t warrant breast implants.

Of course, I’m against the mutant sized implants popular with Vegas strippers. Those are “installed” for lust.

Tattoos- depends on the location. My 3 are all in G-rated places - arms and ankle. Mine are very innocent. Two are flowers, 'cause I’ve always liked flowers. The other is a crescent moon and star - I’ve always liked crescent moons.

Don’t agree with tattoos on the nether regions, breasts, lower back. Only inviting lust.

Piercings - I had my ears pierced multiple times, but always wore tiny studs. Removed them for personal reasons. Had a tiny nose stud for awhile. Tried the eyebrow, but did not look good.

There are questionable piercings. A tongue ring might look cool, but usually it is there for “oral pleasure” on the partnet. Nipple rings- hmmmm… not sure it’s so the woman can admire her bejeweled breasts every time she is topless. (I think it’s lust, sexual pleasure, etc.) Genital piercings is absolutely, positively for lust and pleasure.

Belly rings- I’m iffy. For some, it looks cool. Others its a way to say “look at my exposed belly”. If and when I have a teenage daughter, I’ll permit her to pierce her ears and nose. She can try the nose ring, like I did, but nothing else. (I’d be really concerned about an eyebrow piercing. Mine got “nasty-infected”.)

Are you talking about someone viewing the person naked and casting judgement? I don’t think a partner would prefer $7,000 water balloons instead. I would suggest nobody know and they would not if she had the correct fitted for her bra to wear. She can look perfectly wonderful in a shirt or sweater with the correct bra if that really mattered. People get a little too off the deep end today.

I have probably close to 30 tattoos, love them all, no regrets, to each his own.

Wen it comes to piercings I only have my ear lobes pierced, but don’t have an issue with others getting pierced. To each his own.

Breast implants? No big deal, like TC2 said, sometimes women get them to have a more normal appearance. Sometimes they get them to feel better about themselves (re: self esteem). There’s a number of reasons. One of my sisters had hers done a few years ago - she was barely an 'A" cup before going up to a small “C” cup - now she’s feels better about her body and her clothes fit better. Once again, to each his own.

What is “normal” appearance & normal size you speak of?

I like a 36 C but I can’t just order it up. It’s all in the nipples isn’t it?
I see “normal” load on the washer or dryer and still not sure what they mean. I’m guessing it is somewhere between 32B and 38D? I like 36C but that’s just my normal.
I don’t want to get into trouble here. Hey, if the woman is healthy and has little up top no backaches as top heavy may have, she’s is blessed and her partner should feel very good about that.

Wow I’m reading some August posts from a thread back then someone shared about their tattoos. I’m new here so did not see it before. Thanks for sharing.
 
As mentioned above, I’m speaking about women who are so small they feel androgenous.
Or women who’s shape is off kilter, ect. In HER eyes, no one elses.

It can become a major issue in a womans life, leading to depression and self esteem issues that spill over into relationships. Implants can help her overcome that, so why not.

Not everyone who wants them, or gets them, wants to be a Playboy model.
They just want to feel and look normal.
 
I have an ear pierced, and was/am thinking of getting one tattoo.

I think tattoos are fine, but some people go way overboard.

Breast enhancements repulse me, most plastic surgery does, but I don’t think they are immoral.

Tattoo inks fade and blur with time. They don’t entirely disappear, but do loose their crisp details.
