What don’t I understand?
Obviously the entire conversation:shrug:
If you get it to “honor” a dead relative, you’re begging people to pour sympathy on you.
Really? And what if I have pictures of my dearly departed around my home? In my wallet? If people ask who they are and I tell them, am i begging for sympathy?
If you get it to celebrate a child, you’re begging people to get you to brag about your kids.
** everyone has different motives…some good, some not so good. Either way they really aren’t any of your business.**
If you get it as a sign of love for a spouse, people will criticize you because most marriages end in a divorce.
**
Am I supposed to base all of my choices on whether or not “worldly” people will criticize me? I’d better stop going to Mass then

**
If you get a brand logo tattooed on you (Harley-Davidson comes to mind), then you’re a slave to worldly things through brand loyalty.
**In most cases that’s probably the truth…but we can’t know what’s in people’s hearts. **
If you put it in a place where you can’t easily see it, you’ve wasted your money.
If you get it on your lower back to attract the eyes of others, then it’s called something I probably should not say on this forum.
Again, in some cases that is right…but not all. You can’t possibly know everything…or did I miss where you state you are God?
If you get it and you don’t like it anymore, then you’ve wasted your money.
MY money to waste…not yours. Just like the time you spend posting on this thread is yours…we all have free will, can all make our own choices…and we can all make mistakes.
