Nah, not insecure here

To me, tattoos are makeup, just permanent… I love how God created my body, but I see it as a mode of self expression…The only reason I don’t have one is because I have little money right now and the extra I get is going to school.
That said…plans are as follows:
Red fleur-de-lis on my right wrist, to honor my “Gaelic and garlic” heritage (I’m both Scottish and Italian, with ancestry from Florence)
Fire on my left wrist: left vein is believed to flow directly to the heart (well, all veins do, but this is the reason engagement/wedding bands were worn on the left ring finger) and I believe Love is more fire than anything…that includes divine love, because fire may seem like destruction but to me means renewal, warmth, and light, as well as the Holy Spirit…
Jobs? That’s what watches, bracelets, and long sleeves are for
It looks horrible when you get old? Well, I don’t expect to retain my youth, but I’d see it as a testament to my youth…wrinkles don’t freak me out.
Commandment of God? Church said it was morally neutral…so…
I’ll be a practicing Catholic girl with tattoos
