This is something my husband has wrote recently. We wanted to share. Thank you and God Bless.

Teach us

Teach us oh Lord not to expect things from you, but rather accept the blessings that you bestow upon us.

Teach us oh Lord to know that your love is deep within our hearts, minds, and souls everywhere we go.

Teach us oh Lord to humble ourselves, so that we may grow closer to you every minute of the day.

Teach us oh Lord that we don’t have to hear you speak, rather we hear your word in our hearts and souls.

Teach us oh Lord to think before we speak, so we can speak more like you when we talk to someone.

Teach us oh Lord not to fear evil, knowing that if we believe in you we have nothing to fear.

Teach us oh Lord not to run from you, but rather we should run towards you in our times of trouble.

Teach us oh Lord to love other people the same way that you have undying love for us.

Teach us oh Lord to never leave you, and cause you any further pain and suffering.

Teach us oh Lord to do your will on earth, and know that we’ll do anything you ask of us.

Thank you for sharing that. It is wonderful! I pray for the same things daily.

Thanks for the compliment. I sat down to write this prayer with only a couple of phrases in mind, the rest of it came to me as I was writing and the whole thing was completed within a half an hour.I try to pray this daily and it seems to help, I haven’t been at this long, but I just started praying the rosary, and along with this prayer I also say a bunch of prayers that I found on a website dedicated to st padre pio. there you will find prayers such as a spiritual communion, prayer to the blessed virgin, prayer to the sacred heart of jesus, and many other prayers for your gaurdian angel, a prayer that pope john paul the second wrote to saint pio on the date of his canonization among others.
GOD BLESS YOU AND THANKS.

P.S. I would like to thank relavent radio, and in particular father john corapi for bringing me back to god. if anyone out there is doing some soul searching that is a great place to start. and always remember we are not alone on our faith journey. almighty god, his son king of all kings jesus, and the mother of jesus and our mother the blessed virgin mary are there to hold our hand.

Good prayer. God Bless.

Please say the following prayer right now to release 1,000 souls from purgatory (Approval and Recommendation signed by M. Cardinal Pahiarca, Lisbon, Portugal March 4, 1936.): Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy Souls in Purgatory. Amen
