Teaching Job Interview Today Please Pray

My school district has done some crazy things and there are tons of high school teachers losing their jobs. I am one of them.

I have an interview today for an elementary school teaching position. This is the only principal out of the 52 I emailed that has shown any interest in giving me a chance.

Please pray for me that this interview goes well, and that if it is God’s will I get this job where I know I can be a help to a lot of children.

I just need to really brush up on my Spanish.

Please also pray for those teachers who have lost their jobs this year (There are 30 at my school alone!) and for those who still have their jobs but will be overburdened and overworked by losing a conference period and growing unmanageable class sizes. I see being one of the teachers who was cut as an act of our Merciful God because things are going to be really bad.
 
Glorious St. Joseph, model of all those who are devoted to labor, obtain for this person the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above their many sins; to work with thankfulness and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, by means of labor, the gifts received from God; to work with order, peace, prudence and patience, never surrendering to weariness or difficulties; to work, above all, with purity of intention, and with detachment from self, having always death before my eyes and the account which I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success so fatal to the work of God.
