Teen Choir

[LSG]

I would like to start a youth/teen choir at our church. I love the old traditional hymns, Latin hymns and very reverent newer music - music which is focused on worship of Our Blessed Lord and which enhances understanding and love of our Catholic faith. I believe singing from the choir loft would be most appropriate. Any suggestions?

Sing the Agnus Dei, Sanctus, Kyrie instead of the English Translations. They are easy to learn and really beautiful!

The Adoremus hymnal is used at EWTN and contains many traditional hymns, not Haugen, Haas, etc. However, it is pricy. I think about $25.00 each.

No problem at all I just hope and pray that the choir will be able to sing holy, traditional hymns.
