Please pray for all Catholic teens. Just because we are Catholic does not mean we aren’t confused. It is hard to determine what is right and wrong, morally speaking. There are the black and white areas, but there is also a lot of grey
Pray for a good friend of mine. While I feel grinding is sexual foreplay and therefore wrong, he is not the least bit convinced. He is determined not to change his ways. If anyone has any advice on how to help him (besides praying) and what to say, I’d love the help!!!

Prayer to Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, Patron of Youth

Dear Christian youth, you were a faithful follower of Christ in the Society of Jesus. You steadily strove for perfection while generously serving the plague-stricken. Help our youth today who are faced with a plague of false cults and false gods. Show them how to harness their energies and to use them for their own and others’ fullfillment—which will redound to the greater glory of God. Amen.

I will pray for Catholic teens! I was a Catholic teen once and made some wrong choices. It is soooo hard! Hindsight is 20/20 though. :gopray:

PS: We are also supposed to **avoid the near occasion of sin **(whatever leads us to sin).

God bless you for your faith and good intentions.

I ask You Jesus, to guide her, and other young persons, in finding Your answers to her questions in the bible and in the teachings of the Church.
Please protect her and other teens, and help her, and them to grow in goodness and truth, to make wise choices for their lives, and to live in love and grace always.

In Matthew 5:27-28 Jesus says
“You have heard that it was said, “You shall not commit adultery.” But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” You friend can be sure that what he believes is okay is in fact a sin. It is an occasion of sin also for the person he involves in this, and unless the person rejects it, that person also sins. I ask the Lord to touch his heart and conscience.

Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and
snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God
cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits who wander
through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

You can be a witness for Christ with your own chaste and pure life. :angel1:

And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature,
and in favor with God and with people.
Luke 2:52

*One simple thing I started doing in college was to read a Proverb each day.
There are thirty-one Proverbs, one for each day of the month! * :bible1:
