Did you even read the links? The answer to your question is that he was. As soon as the police called the diocese, the priest was immediately suspended and the representative went right over to sign the consent forms to allow a police search of the church. Thus there was no more the diocese could do. The Church can not jail priests, merely limit their priestly function, which they did.

I somehow doubt that money grubbing teens are throwing themselves upon poor unsuspecting priests in a grand scheme by liberal forces to undermine the moral authority of the Church.

If the boy was sexually abused then he is entitled to sue the archdiocese for compensation. Maybe lawsuits will make the men in charge more careful in the future.

I know you are just being facetious since once you read the article in the update you would then realize that, in this case anyways, the victim has a credible claim, especially since the priest in question attempted to hire an under-cover law enforcement officer to kill him. That is why I said he is pure evil.
