hey man … well the key to teen evangelism is to build relationships with people.
Take the time to know ur friend u want to evangelize to and GROW with them.
Also emulate Jesus towards ur friends, show them what it is to be a Christian.
invite them down to your bible sharing or if there isnt one in ur church start a youth ministry that allows people to come down n share about their faith, maybe ask a priest to guide your in bible sharing/studies so your can do it during your meeting after sharing… this will create a place to bring your friends to where they can learn more about the word of God.
DO NOT leave your friend hanging… always follow up after each meeting or after any sharing as they would have questions…

ya exactly religious classes have been no help in my spiritual growth and now i am called to evangelize and i know NOTHING about it … thats why i turn to the bible… books of st paul is good for evangelism inspiration … from acts onwards…

As a 17 year old, here are my ideas:

make it interesting and show your passion for it. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard other Catholic teenagers make Mass sound like it wasn’t worth it and CCD is a waste of time. I was Confirmed last year and this year I’m helping teach a sixth grade class - and truth be told I’m not the best teacher, but I hope I’m getting some things across - and I’ve came home with a positive attitude about it, granted there are nights when I’m frustrated, but I try to be happy about it and get interested in the topics and do fun games and stuff - and I think partly because I am excited about it all the time - my sister (who isn’t practicing) actually suggested helping me teach next year… and im praying that continues to be the case…

Whenever i talk about it at school I try to show my love and excitement for it and try to explain why I do love it and am excited. I talk about our youth events and about my knowledge of my faith (which isn’t as much as I want it to be) and get people interested that way.

I’m not having as much success as I imagined when I first started, but God shows me small success now and then that let me know I’m doing something…

so my advice: pray, pray, pray!! be joyful!! love your faith and don’t be ashamed!! and trust God will help you along the way!👍

believe me brian, it isnt just the youth- it crosses into all stages and ages. i am personally surrounded by lots of people who have no faith, all the way to those who proclaim to be atheist. our job as Catholic Christians is to not let the darkness affect our own souls- then satan wins- if the darkness of others invades our hearts and minds, then we do not only have to help others, but we are in no shape to share our faith with anger and darkness in our hearts. we have to dig our own selves out- how can we be of service if we are filled with sadness and frustration? 90% of evangelization is being a good example of hope, love, and charity. i think it was st. francis who said something like’evangelize always, and sometimes use words’…now if i could only take my own advice lol

keep your chin up- maybe instead of praying for others’ hearts to be opened, you could concentrate on praying for peace and happiness for yourself so that you can better share? your heart has to be clean, happy, and pure to be able to influence others. your positive attitude will shine through- people will see it and want what you have 👍
Hello, I’m JMartyr. I know this seems abrupt, but I was wondering if any1 knew of any sites which give 1 the opportunity 2 do online evangelism, perhaps in person 2 person format. Does any1?

Once again, I apologize

Thanks in advance.👍
