Can anyone tell me if this is a legitimate Catholic organization. Their postings on Facebook appear Catholic; but on one occasion when I clicked on their actual website I saw a photo of a woman who said she was their leader - and she showed her name to be Apostle __________. I forget the first name now. And, her picture no longer shows up on the web site.

I am confused about this organization.🤷

No it isn’t.
Sorry I would have posted links to the mega church and ministry but while I was on them, my computer came under attack (all is okay thanks to my computer security). I can’t put a link if it could endanger other computers. NB I am not blaming Tektron Ministry as it could be hooked onto their site, however, the attacks stopped when I broke the links.

God bless.

I wonder what their Ministry is - and what does the name “Tektron” mean. All their posts are about the Catholic Church.

So, are you saying that you are also skeptical?

Don’t you mean Tekton, not Tektron? Tekton refers to Joseph–St. Joseph the Worker (tekton is a Greek word for a carpenter, mason, or builder).

There are several Tekton Ministires.

According to public DNS records, the name tektonministries.com is registered Dr. Anya Miller Hall, the organization’s founder. From the website…

Because she is a woman of authority, she is submitted to such and is an A.I.M. Pastor under Bishop I.V. Hilliard as well as a spiritual daughter and mentee of Bishop Joel “Daddy Jo’” Thomas. Dr. Hall is an ordained Apostle and consecrated Bishop in the Lord’s church and serves Him with passionate commitment.

I don’t recall a Bishop Daddy Jo, nor do I recall the Church ever allowing females to be Bishops so that site is certainly not Catholic.

The name Tektonics.org is held by James P. Holding. According to the website’s FAQ…

Q: What church are you affiliated with? A: Tekton is an independent ministry. I attend a Southern Baptist church but would be comfortable just about anywhere where the Bible was honored as the Word of God.

Neither sites seem overtly ant-catholic and aside from the obvious theological mistake of Dr. Hall calling herself an Apostle, I’m sure they are very nice people and love the Lord.

Then there is tektonministries.org run by Richard Sontag. This version of Tekton Ministries runs pilgrimages to Asssis, Ireland, the Holy Land and to the Vatican. They are also the public relations firm for the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land and are listed at the FFHL website, at the bottom of ffhl.org/newsmanagerdotnet2/templates/pr.aspx?articleid=284&zoneid=26. From the tektonministries.org website…

In 1996, while traveling on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, our founder, Richard Sontag, met and befriended Father Peter Vasko, President of the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land. It was the beginning of a lasting relationship. Later in 1999, moved by the plight of Christians in the Holy Land and the work of the Franciscans, he and Tekton Ministries agreed to oversee the internal operations of the Foundation in the United States.

tektonministries.org has Act of Adoration and Reparation to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament posted on his website. 👍

Thank you all for your responses and you seem to have answered my concerns. It appears that I might have, accidentially, gone into two different web sites using the same, or similar, name.:o

Because the first web site was where I saw the picture of the woman calling herself the founder and using the title apostle.

After that when I would go into the website clicking on the facebook site I would see the pilgrimages.and they appeared to be Catholic.

The wonder of the Internet.😊

The above posts explain that there are two sites, Tekton and Tektron and most of my searches linked them together. Personally, I am skeptical on that basis and would avoid both.

Well, it’s more that three similar names referred to three different religious organizations.
