Temporary lapse - coming back home

I’m coming back to the Church after what I can only describe as spiritual desolation. Granted I grew frustrated when my zeal was dying out, but I have a feeling that this is par for the course. Also, granted, I’ve read some spiritual books I wish I didn’t read and now regret.
I’m going to try praying a full rosary tonight and am going to try to rekindle some of the zeal I lost during my brief stint living like a heathen.
(By the way, thanks for the prayers of perseverance!🙂 )
