Praying for those afflicted with suicidal thoughts, and their loved ones…

Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. .

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Folks-
Remember that we are to be the light of Christ to the world.
If you even suspect that someone you know is having such thoughts of suicide, make sure that they know about the truth of God !
So many times the lost can be rescued just by getting God into their lives in the smallest way…
This , like so many other problems in our world, has a simple, 3-letter solution : G-O-D

He is always calling us, but he will not break into our lives, we NEED to invite Him in, even in the smallest way. His grace is sufficient for everything that comes our way in this life, and it is openly available thru the Trinity- Father , Son, Holy Spirit; and thru Our Lady who is always interceeding for us and bringing us her Son’s grace in huge portions; and also thru the intercession of the many angels and saints of Heaven.
So much treasure, and all we have to do is ask !!!

Make SURE these troubled souls KNOW this.
You BE the light of Christ to them.
By God’s grace, twice in my life I have been put in a position where I was able to act in this way.
Too many other times I found out too late that someone I knew was thinking suicide…

So, act.
BE that light !
And of course pray for them !
