I was listening to something on Catholic Radio the other day (I have no idea which show or even if it was current or an old podcast)…someone gave a short description of a word (maybe Latin?) that means something like “temptation to sin.” I think they described the concept as what’s left after Baptism removes the stain of Original Sin. It was explained that the temptations we have aren’t always necessarily sinful, and in fact overcoming our temptations is commendable. The concept I have heard before, but I have never heard the word and now I can’t remember it. Does anyone know of this word?
