I have been praying for YEARS for someone with bipolarism, plus major emotional health issues.

She gets worse and worse. Her anger intensifies, as does her short temperedness, alcohol/drug abuse and reliance on casual sex. her rage has at times brought police in. On three occasions she tried killing herself.

I was in the army for four years, and I don’t know anyone else with the kind of rage she has. That’s not an exaggeration.

It’s been years and years and it’s getting harder and harder to see this. I’ve asked so many people to pray for her. I’ve fasted and offered up this suffering. Ive prayed to the saints, including Sts Dymphna and Jude.

Thinking about her stresses me out, so praying for her makes me angry nothing is happening. To be honest, some days I hate feeling compelled to pray for this person.

I want to give up. I know I won’t, but I’m exhausted and don’t know what else to do. I know God works on his own timeline, I need the strength to keep going and I prayers she hears God’s mercy and grace.

I sometimes wonder how my prayers help me when I pray if I feel nothing changes, I then realise if I didn’t pray how much worse I might actually be.

I believe your prayers are working even if to stop her getting worse.

May it please the supreme and divine Goodness
to give us all abundant grace
ever to know his most holy will
and perfectly to fulfil it.
Amen.

Prayer doesn’t have to be exhausting. Just commend her to God & leave it at that.

Praying for both of you…
  • My Lord Jesus, lead all souls to heaven
especially those most in need of thy mercy. *
    ** Our Father…Hail Mary x10
    Glory Be…Fatima Prayer…Amen!**

Praying to St. Dymphna for her health & recovery. Praying for your intentions as well.

^^This.
Also remember, if she has been diagnosed bipolar, she is not fully responsible for her actions. Her illness is causing this.

I have had several long relationships and one short contact with several different bipolar people. I had to cut all these people off because I could not handle their anger and behavior. I understand how you feel. I will pray for this lady and for you.

Dear Jesus, I commend the OP and the bipolar person he writes about to your care. Please Jesus, step in and handle this situation and help these people. The OP is spiritually and mentally exhausted with this. I place my confidence and trust in You to help both of them. In Jesus’ Name, I humbly ask this. Amen.

Our Lady of Mental Peace, Please pray for this intention.
St. Joseph, Please pray for this intention.
St. Dymphna, Please pray for this intention.
St. Benedict LaBre, Please pray for this intention.
St. John of God, Please pray for this intention.
St. Christina the Astonishing, Please pray for this intention.
St. Jude, Please pray for this intention.
St. Rita of Cascia, Please pray for this intention.
Thank you. Amen.

Praying that the woman with bipolar disease seeks help and follows her treatment plan to the letter. Praying also for you as you try your best to support her in prayer.

Are you the only one praying for her? Will your prayers
ensure heaven for her? Will she go off the deep end if
you stopped praying for her? Are you God??

Please, for HER sake and yours, in thankfulness commit
this person into God’s capable hands, “LET GO and let
God”, acknowledge God is in control and thank Him for
this!!

Our Father, who is in heaven,
hallowed be Your Name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as
we forgive those who trespass against us,
(forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors)
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of Grace,
the Lord is w/ you,
blessed are you among women,
blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us, sinners, now
and at the Hour of our death.(x3)
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Amen.

Praying for her and for you…

You said
I know that God works on his own timeline
Try to remember that He also works in His own way. And that way may not be the curing of her mental illness, but a way that will ensure the salvation of her soul.

Prayer to Pope St. Celestine I

Pope St. Celestine, you were a contemporary and friend of St. Augustine and St. Ambrose. You defended the Faith against many heresies, including Pelagism. When the Goths sacked Rome, you were instrumental in rebuilding the churches.

In light of the conflicting and dark times in which you lived in, we ask for your prayers and intercession, confident that you understand and sympathize with those who also live in a chaotic and stressful times. I ask you to especially lift up to God these intentions presented to you today. Pray that we may show perseverance, courage and resilience to the relativism, agnosticism, and misguided compassion that overruns our society today. Pray that we may be a living witness to the power of Christ working in the Church now. And finally, pray that we may be able to thank you for your prayers and intercession face to face in heaven.
Amen.

Pope St. Celestine I, pray for us!

My Lord Jesus, lead all souls to heaven
especially those most in need of thy mercy.
Our Father…Hail Mary x10
Glory Be…Fatima Prayer…Amen!

Remembering you and the woman you pray for in my own daily prayers. God bless.

God has His reasons for allowing suffering … some of us suffer illness constantly with no relief … it’s all in God’s design … keep praying for her, but believe that God hears the simplest prayer that you say for her … God Bless you for being such a good friend … my prayers are with you and this lady you pray for …

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose
St. Dymphna as patroness of those
afflicted with mental, emotional, and
nervous disorders. She is thus an
inspiration and a symbol of charity
to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers
of this pure youthful martyr, relief and
consolation to all suffering such trials,
and especially those for whom we pray.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers
of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant all
those for whom we pray patience in their
sufferings and resignation to your divine will.
Please fill them with hope, and grant them
the relief and cure they so desire.

We ask this through Christ Our Lord,
who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

**Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes **

Loving God, You are always near
to us, especially when we are weak,
suffering, and vulnerable. Reach out
to those who experience mental illness.
Lift their burdens, calm their anxiety,
and quiet their fears.

Surround them with your healing
presence that they may know that
they are not alone. We ask this through
the intercession of our Lady of Lourdes
and in the name of Your Son, Jesus, and
the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
