Tenebrae service... at the Episcopal church?

My local Episcopal church has a yearly Tenebrae service ( this year it is of course all streamed online). The Catholic church, on the other hand, is having nothing at all.

I’ve looked over the program for it and it appears to differ from the RCC version only in the translation of scripture.

Would it be unwise, as a Roman Catholic, to go to (or tele-participate) such a thing?

Your bishop has suspended public Masses and dispensed you of your obligation to attend Mass out of charity towards others. The Catholic Church is not doing “nothing”, there are plenty of places which will be live streaming the Triduum and still be Catholic. I’d suggest you watch an online Catholic service or recite the Tenebrae Office yourself privately.

There are plenty of Tenebrae services being streamed by Catholic churches. Here’s one example, streaming tonight (April 8) from the Eastern time zone.

I see at least two other churches planning to stream Tenebrae from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

If you cannot watch live due to the time, these are generally available for watching on demand at least for a few days.

You may need to look outside your diocese or outside your time zone, but there is no reason to be watching an Episcopalian service for something the Catholics are offering, including the Ordinariate if you wanted something similar to the Episcopalians.
