  • Dear CAF Family,
A friend of a dear volunteer has been diagnosed w/lung cancer. Her name is Teri. Her husband just joined her in Texas after diagnosis. He had been working in Florida. Please pray for her healing if it be God’s will and for grace and peace for both of them if it is not. God bless you all for your support of so many…
O glorious Saint Camillus,
special patron of the sick,
thou who for forty years,
with truly heroic charity didst devote thyself
to the relief of their temporal and spiritual necessities,
be pleased to assist them now even more generously,
since thou art blessed in heaven
and they have been committed by Holy Church
to thy powerful protection.

Obtain for them from Almighty God
the healing of all their maladies,
or at least, the spirit of Christian patience
and resignation that may sanctify them
and comfort them in the hour of their passing to eternity;
at the same time obtain for us the precious grace
of living and dying after thine example
in the practice of Divine love.
Amen

St. John of God, Patron of the sick and compassionate, Father of all those who suffer or are in any distress, I confidently turn to you in her time of need. I pray you to intercede for her with Jesus whom you followed so faithfully in His healing apostolate.

Knowing only Jesus can provide the true answer to our call for help and confide in His promise
that if I but ask, it be given to us, I now invoke your intercession in pleading for her.

All glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.

St. John of God, pray for her (and all those similiarly afflicted)

  • Dear CAF Family,
As Teri is a friend of a friend, I have no direct way of updating you as to her condition/prognosis. All I can say is that she and family need your prayers. According to my friend(at library) Teri put notice in newspaper thanking all for their prayers.I thank you for your prayers as well.
