It’s about time for her to go back to her Creator. May she pray for us all. God bless!
 
I can hear the Angels rejoicing. No more suffering and the good news is she will have a restored health glorious body.Praise God. 👍

I don’t quite understand what you are getting at. I think that you typed this in a hurry. COuld you reword?

May those who have hardened hearts like Pharoh and refused to let her go to her parents, and those who had the authority to save her but like Pilate “washed their hands” repent so that they not meet the same fate.

Lets offer many masses for Terri and pray for those who have killed her.

I agree Lisa. That was extremely callous!
 
I have never been ashamed to call myself an American until now. I’ve served the armed forces of this nation for 11 years, including combat, with pride; all I feel now is shame. How could we do such a thing? If I had gone in on Wednesday and suffocated her they would have arrested me for murder, so how is it justifiable to starve her to death? Such a cowardly act for our nation. May God forgive us, we know not what we do.

That comment was very offensive and you should reflect on it.I accept your apology and as you know the Catholics know that as well,this was just uncalled for.Don’t you know that God would give her the grace of forgiveness,being unjustly murdered?
 
My heart is broken for what our country has allowed and in the death of this innocent young woman. It’s bad enough that a single judge could make the decision to execute her. It’s equally as bad that the majority of Americans don’t care.

The only consolation in this is that Terri is in heaven with Jesus and she is completely healed of her brain damage.
 
This was a response to a question in the Ask the Apologist by Father Vincent Serpa on the Anoiting of the Sick which Teri Schiavo received before her death.

“When a person received the anointing of the sick on their death bead and then dies shortly thereafter, all things being equal, that person goes straight to heaven. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the sick not only absolves all sin, it also removes all temporal punishment due to sin. So there is very good reason to believe that your dad is in heaven. Nevertheless, continue to pray for his soul just in case, unknown to us, all things were not equal.”

Given the response by Father Serpa it is almost certain that Teri is in heaven.
 
I’m so upset about this. I feel awful that our country can allow this. We had a prayer service in class about indifference, and my friend pointed out this is just what that service was about. I know this is going to sound kinda mean, but please bear with my reasoning. I pray the autopsy shows that she was in fact in a persistent vegitative state. Otherwise imagine the torture her parents will go though. And I pray for strength for her family to forgive michael.
