A sad day. Understand I say this not trying to cause controversy, but would welcome “clarification”.

I have not been to Mass since the abuse scandel with the Church. It appears that the Church is upset with our government on their decision about Terri.
My understanding was the Church did not want the government involved with the abuse scandels.
I don’t understand this.
If I am wrong, I do apologize. I cannot resolve this.

They murdered her…!!! One should never be starved to death!!! Wait till this happends to them!!! You get what you give!!!

Ok… i know this is very un catholic of me… I’m just so sadden and angry by this…

But i guess if she can forgives them… i should as well…

I’m so upset about this. I feel awful that our country can allow this. We had a prayer service in class about indifference, and my friend pointed out this is just what that service was about. I know this is going to sound kinda mean, but please bear with my reasoning. I pray the autopsy shows that she was in fact in a persistent vegitative state. Otherwise imagine the torture her parents will go though. And I pray for strength for her family to forgive michael.
The autopsy will not show this. About this it will be inconclusive, because we do not know the intimate relations of the parts of the brain. It will show she died of dissication and that she had massive brain injuries.

Do you really think that a judge is not a part of government? IMHO, this is a case of the abuse of power and therefore subject to review by the legislature.

Why? The actions of a very few do not reflect Jesus. Please don’t let the actions of men separate you from God. And yes, if you haven’t been to Catholic Mass since, you’re separating yourself from God, and you know it don’t you? Please, come home. When they arrested Jesus ALL of His Apostles deserted Him, one even was the betrayer, and the leader Peter, even denied Him. After His death and resurrection, did He go to “other” men because His chosen 12 sinned? No! He returned to them, sinners that they were. We can’t expect priest to be impeccable, they sin like everyone else. Statistically there is a higher percentage of parents and family who abuse their own children, do we disavow all families? Come home to the Church; don’t use the scandal as an excuse to stay away. Come home and help us make the Church better.
