I’m 41. I think I waited too long for this!!!
My husband is mistaken for our kids’ grandpa all the time. There are worse things. My mom had her first at 19 and her last when she was 41. She enjoyed the last one the most, but simply because he was the last one, I think. At any rate, you can do it! 👍

My great grandmother had her first at 21 and her last at 44. Supposedly she was really adorable, but I never got to meet her.

I am 45 and my youngest is 18 months. I will be 62 (if I’m lucky) when he graduates from high school. The next is only three years old. I’m looking for another 20 year term life insurance policy…

The early childhood stages are definitely the toughest, but if you’re firm and consistent with them, you’ll have a better time. Never give up on your son, and please don’t see him as evil. He’s just a child that needs to be taught how to live right, and you are going to be the most important teacher in his life, so teach him with lots of love and be there for him through the toughest times.

Be good to him, and he will be good to you. Remember, these ages don’t last forever. Enjoy what you can, because he will never be that age again. Now is the time to address issues and teach him right. I promise you will have smoother sailing when he’s older. Endure!

And remember the most important thing: love. 🙂

Thank you sweet lady.

My son started the terrible twos at 18 months. Woah. LOL

Then 3 came, and it was worse. Seriously, nobody warned me 3 would be worse.

Then, he turned 4. And all of a sudden, I had a rational, reasonable, little human being on my hands! LOL He’s 10 now, and the most amazing young man - kind, tenderhearted, extremely caring of those around him, etc. I watch him and think - yep, surviving the terrible 2s and 3s was oh so worth it! 🙂

My mom told me that terrible 2’s lasted from 18 months to 3.5 years for my brother. That sounds about right.

My son is improving a lot!!! He is no longer biting the kids…he’s just hitting and pushing

My oldest just turned 3 and seemed to instantly enter what I’m calling the crazy three’s. Suddenly he’s throwing fits when frustrated (he does have language delays, so I’m sure that contributes) and the defiance! It’s constant! He also thinks he’s a little smarty pants lately. His energy levels seem to have jumped too.

We never experienced the terrible two’s. Maybe for a couple of weeks here and there he’d throw tantrums, but besides that, he was easy going and obedient and his fits never lasted more than a minute or so.

My SIL told me the four’s are even worse. I’m terrified for when the twins turn 3 and this guy is 4, if that’s the case!

This is what I keep reading…if you skip the terrible two’s, the three’s are really bad.

If you have really bad terrible two’s the threes are a lot easier.

Not biting is a big one!!! He’ll outgrow the hitting/pushing, I promise. 🙂 My son, even in the midst of his terrible 2s/3s, was ok around others. It was just dh & I he was awful for. LOL Even now, as a 5th grader, I joke with him about how much his teachers have always just adored him - he never shows his “evil” side anywhere but home (and occasionally around grandparents if he’s feeling particularly devilish). LOL

Honestly - he’s my kid 100%. I was the same way - little angel at school, mouthy brat at home. That mom curse - you know, the “someday I hope you have a kid just like you” one? It happens people, it happens.

I was a good kid and a good student. My son came outta the blue!!! Maybe it’s payback for my husband’s mother LOL
