Terrible week, can't take it anymore

Between teething, the baby falling off the bed, and yet another damn week where we have run out of money before payday, I am at the complete end of my rope. I can’t live under this constant financial strain anymore. Please pray for me and my family, and especially my husband’s job search, which so far has yielded only non-referrals and insultingly low offers.

Dear Saint Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon him in his anxiety over his present inability to support his family. Please help him to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from his heart and that he is soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to his care. Help us to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that we may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (AClaire11), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. You poor thing! I’m so sorry! :console:

It sounds like you need a break. I forgot your personal and familial situation, but do you have any family that would watch baby for an afternoon while you had some time to yourself? If not maybe there is a tween or young teen needing service hours or just some free experience? Please forgive me if this isn’t at all feasible. You certainly have my prayers. We have near constant financial troubles too. It can really suck!
 
When things get fouled up for us around here I often pray the following amended version of the final optional prayer of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I offer it now for you and your family.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments (like this) we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Prayers going up, dear heart! What an awful situation. I ask all of the Guardian Angels to gather around your family and protect you from any more harm.

Yes , this can cause real despair , can you husband drive a Truck ?
Perhaps he can drive a cement delivery truck , or drive for a landscape yard delivering soil & Rock , how about School Cleaner ? The best way to help each other is try to give each other encouragement , I hope my suggestions give you some food for thought,
And I hope your baby brings you closer together, many of us have struggled as you are now, please be brave,
