dear friends,

I am supposed to have a root canal done on my tooth and I am completely terrified. I always get very anxious at the dentist office. I panic whenever I think about the root canal. I’m scared the pain killer won’t work, or something will go wrong, and I am in shock that I need to have this done at all. I am frustrated as well because there is no cavity on the tooth but the nerve has died from trauma. I always thought the only way a person would need a root canal is if they had a very big cavity, but apprerently not! I also feel terrible because I am still young and it scares me to think that I need a root canal at such a young age. The infection is pretty advanced already, and I can’t help but wonder if after the root canal, I would need to have more done to fix it. I don’t have money and I am not even sure at this point how I will pay for the root canal. Please pray for me that everything would go well, that I would find the money, that the infection would stop and there would be no complications with this or other teeth. Thank you in advance!

God’s providence, will provide. Have faith. And try not to be anxious. He’s with you. Always. I’m an anxious person myself, over EVERYTHING and have to once or twice a year seek medical help to help with it. I’ve had a particularly hard January because of it. When I find I’m getting to get really anxious, I get a glass of cold water, sit, close my eyes, breath, drink slowly and repeat “be not anxious” (Matthew 6:25-34)

The medication for the dental work will work. The infection will clear up. You will be fine.

Our Father, who art in Heaven.
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth
As it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us.

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and forever shall be. World without end. Amen.

Dear Angels333 - Child of the Most High God:
You are going through the most painful part of the root canal right now: the psychological trauma of a dental diagnosis, and the shock of pain to your wallet! Believe me, the procedure is very painless and very accurate (these guys are very detail oriented); and they will make you VERY comfortable (will probably give you an ipod or some kind of music to listen to while they do the work). As far as payment, they may give you a discount if you can pay for it all on the day of the work; otherwise, they will break it up into monthly installments. I’m sorry this is happening to you. It’s for this kind of event that you need to have a backup savings plan. Hope you will get assistance. In the meantime, I will pray the rosary with you. Thank you Lord, for peace and comfort for “angels333.” Mother Mary, pray for us! Holy spirit come, Lord Jesus come, God is with us! Amen!
Blessings,

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said,
“Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.”
With confidence in Your loving heart
which offers rest to weary souls,
we come to You in this time of special need.
In Your unfailing love,
read the prayer that is written on our hearts,
and grant the grace that we ask of You,
in accordance with Your holy will.
In Your name we pray.
Amen.

Praying that the surgery goes smoothly and to relieve your anxiety …

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us form the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of your mercy. Amen.
