Test Anxiety

Well, just failed my first organic chemistry exam. I seem to get really nervous and scared that I’m gonna fail the exam, and I can’t seem to think straight when I take these tough exams. My heart rate goes up and my head feels constricted. I really need a good score to pass this class, because it is important for medical school. I study really hard and remember the material quite well, but when it comes to exam time, I just seem to get nervous and forgot 50% of what I’ve learned. I have 3 more big exams in this class, and any prayers for me would be really helpful.

Dear Lord please encourage mel to seek and use practical means to self-train to positive self- talk and calming strategies, as well as to deepen mel’s gentle faith in You.

Lord, let Your calm settle upon mel, and positive attitudes towards self and ability so that it is possible to do justice to the knowledge and ability that is within.
