test results

well, I got back my ultrasound results and I’m a bit worried. doc states there is fluid in the endometrium and wants to repeat the ultrasound to follow up. He says he’s not worried and says that I should not be worried-of course I am! I have to have a repeat done on 3/12. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. twk
 
How far along are you? I have had three ultrasounds in my PG and they found what is called an echogenic foci on the heart of my baby - soft marker for downs if another soft marker or anything is found. I am not too concerned about downs but it still makes me worry! I totally understand when the Dr. says don’t worry. How can you not? But do try not worry. Trust in the Lord. You have my prayers.

They found that on my son too. The doctor tried to convince me to do an amnio, but I didn’t want too. He was born healthy, and is a bright and loving 5 year old now.
 
Yay! Glad to hear Dulci. I did learn it exists in about 5% of the population and up to 30% of the East Asian population.

Twk, I hope you get more of a clarification of what the test means and maybe someone else has had the same thing? Be wary of googling it though…
