We, the Catholic church, too, should jsut say NO to federal funds.

I’m not so sure that this is a completely good thing. I live in Texas and the local PP clinic does not abort babies, never did once.

What they did was Pap smears, breast cancer screenings, HIV testing at low cost and often free.

With the clinic closed now people will have to go to expensive private Drs.

Abortion is not the only thing PP does, and the majority of PP clinics do no abortions at all. Why could the state have forced the few PP clinics to stop without shutting down the beneficia; things they do WITHOUT killling babies?

PP makes millions and millions of $$ every year from what they do. Why can’t they fund themselves without taxpayer contributions?

Their business is keeping women healthy so that they can get pregnant and have abortions, rinse and repeat.

Link showing the majority don’t perform abortions?

Also, there are numerous other clinics in most areas that will do the same things. No need to make up some bunk about expensive doctors.

Sorry I disagree, do you think that abortion is the only thing PP does, even tho the majority of PP clinics do no abortions.

BTW I agree that even one abortion is too many. but that is not the only or primary raison d’etre for PP.

I guess I am too much a moderate.

And now I will shut up.

Methinks you need to check your facts again. What evidence do you have for your assertion?

I will bet you my breakfast that they gave out the abortion pill like it was candy.

Also, the support sterilization and contraception.

Let’s see, the entire org is based on selling sin - it is as if someone says “that adult XXX book store up the street sells the best lip gloss in town. Why would you want them to be shut down?”

God Bless Texas!!! I love my State. The greatest place on Earth!

If the majority of PP clinics do not do abortions, that is simply a matter of financial convience, as they cannot afford to operate an abortion mill in every "clinic. You can be sure, that a very large amount of business in every PP clinic is funneling patients for abortions to their clinics. There is no room for moderation on the subject of PP. The work you site relative to real women’s health concerns are very small, from both a financial and orgainziation strategy sense. All you have to do is look at their name, it is not “Women’s Health xxx” it is Planned Parenthood. It is all about controlling the population via immoral means.

According to the article, the Administration is threatening to cut federal funding for women services. Fine. Let them. When Texas runs out of state money for legitimate healthcare, we can just hand those that need additional services a letter explaining:

“We regret to inform you that the Obama Administration in an effort to exert federal control over the State of Texas has discontinued funding for your needed services. Please remember this letter the next time you vote. Again, this drop in service is all a part of the Hope and Change of Barak Hussein Obama.”

+1

I previously lived in Granite City, IL and currently live in Springfield, IL. The Hope Clinic in Granite City is an abortion mill, Planned Parenthood in Springfield sends people to Granite City for abortion “surgery” but otherwise they’ll give you abortion pills like gumballs. I know for a fact that the pill pushing happens all over the country, I also know that there Planned Parenthood has sent people from all over the midwest to Granite City for abortions.
