I’m in TX, but hundreds of miles from the storm, however one of my best friends is currently under it; your prayers are appreciated.

Well I live in Dallas, so we’re just getting some light showers from this storm. My cousins who live near the coast have been doing fine as well. Beeville was spared from the worst of the flooding, and my aunt’s power never went out while the rest of her neighborhood did. We all seem to be doing fine. I haven’t seen any urgent posts from them on Facebook. I thank God for protecting them, Our Lady for her prayers, and all the CAF members who prayed for my family.
 
Continued prayers for all affected. My Parish had a collection this Sunday for those affected by Harvey.
 
My amigo in Houston, and uncle in East TX, both came out unscathed!

Moderately wet, talked to school mom who is hosting Houston relatives, trying to talk friend out of doctor’s apt. in Houston this week.
 
Wet, working, but blessed. It seems odd that in the middle of this, we are still looking at a new landfall here from a reformed TS Harvey in two days. I live and work pretty much in the middle of this mess, south of Houston.
