Texting etiquette

Texting conversations just sort of die down. Someone in real life interrupts you, the phone rings, whatever.

I do sometimes say that I am driving or going into a meeting if we have exchanged a bunch of texts in one session and I am going to go silent. Mostly, they just die down.
