It is awesome and I believe that St. Therese has been interceding for us - me and my girlfriend!

I am in the 6th day of the 9 day novena to St. Therese. I am praying for my girlfriend’s intention. Yellow rose is not my favorite, so when I started the Novena, I asked the Saint to send me one single yellow rose to let me know if the intention of my girlfriend was pleasing to God.

Last night, when I was on the 6th day praying the Novena, I was thinking that there would be 3 more days til the end of this Novena and wondering if any rose would come.

Today, when I came back to my office from the First Friday Mass at noon, a single beautiful yellow rose was placed on my desk with a note to my girlfriend.

Thank you, St. Therese.
Praise the Lord - I have confidence in You!

PS: other times of the novena and rosary prayer, I could only smell the smell of roses either in my dream or in my car.

I’m glad to hear that Water. I did a novena to her about a month ago. We had some roses at church , but that is common. Then a couple of weeks ago 2 coral colored roses bloomed on a half dead rose bush we have out front. They where slow growing. I take that as I should be patient. Hope things go well, Tim

That’s wonderful to hear! I was so happy on Monday night, because for the first time ever in the four years that I have been praying to St. Therese, I received a physical rose. I had asked to see red and white roses together. You can imagine how shocked I was when I was sitting in the chapel on campus asking God to tell me what to do about a particular situation (the one I had started praying for months ago), and all of a sudden I notice that there is a vase full of red and white roses next to the Tabernacle.

That sounds like a rose bush we had – which bloomed shortly after my great-grandmother died. My great-grandmother always used to give me a rose everytime I visited, too. (Now, she was Lutheran… :hmmm: )

Thank you Water…She is and always has been one of my favorite saints. I have never prayed a novena to her, however I have asked her to pray for me many times…Her spiritual writings are full of Light.

This Sunday during Mass at the stautes of Mary and Joseph, there was a couple of coral rose’s each. And the center piece in front of the alter about a dozen red rose’s. I told my wife to look at the rose’s during Mass and said the prayer would be answered. Today the prayer intention for the novena was answered with a yes and granted. Thank you for the intervention St. Therese!

Thank you for sharing Tim, and I am glad that your prayer has been answered. Thanks be to God!

My wife is more excited that the prayers where answered then the answer itself. Her faith in prayer has been lifted. I’m waiting for her to put the last little one to bed so we can say our thanksgivings to God together, Tim 🙂

God knows how to remind us that He is always next to us and listens to us.

I’m still all smiles, I love it. My wife got the news and said “it is so blatant”. She’s not mystical at all and this blew her sock’s off. The Lord’s hand is so in this. Now she gets to work as a Human Service’s Specialist in disaster relief for FEMA. She is giving a huge chance to be Christlike for others. I love watching this unfold. Tim

Congratulations! That is a great job.

Thank you for sharing the good news…

Just a little incident that I consider a smile from heaven…I told a fellow forum member that I would pray for his deceased mother at mass last evening… here is the post…

Yesterday, I went to mass after having told you that I would be praying for your mother. I was also, btw, into my second day of a novena to St. Theresa of the Child Jesus.. Little did I know what was particular about last nights mass as I tried to find a place to park..; so many people at the late mass.. ''how unusual'' I thought to myself.........Well.......It turned out that the mass was the annual mass for the deceased....and there were Roses everywhere ! And so I assisted at a very special mass indeed for your mother.. with the choir and the music... it was a great mass and we were all gathered to pray for those of us who are no longer of this world. You can be sure that God heard from the faithful gathered last night at St Joseph's Oratory on the mountain...and I can tell you your mother was among those being prayed for.
St Theresa thank you for the roses ! they were everywhere and in 2 different colors ! Please console my forum colleague and pray for his mother.
