My husband and I are on a very tight budget. He works full time and I am a full time mom (although I make a little here and there as a freelance writer). We are blessed to be able to live with his parents, so we’re working on paying off some debts and saving money to get into our own place.

Unfortunately, due to some health issues, our money has been even tighter recently. Hubby gets paid on Friday, but we had no money this week for anything but stuff for Bean.

Well, Bean had his six-month check up this week. I was worried about the copay because of how close we’re cutting it this week, and was afraid the copay would put our checking account in the negative. Then, when we got there, the receptionist told us we didn’t have to pay anything since the visit was a well baby visit. It’s covered 100%, and we didn’t even need the copay!

When things are rough, we turn to the Lord in prayer. And when things get better, we’re thankful. But today reminded me that our Heavenly Father isn’t just watching out for the big things (health, home, food), but the little things, as well! It reminded me that I can trust that the Lord will take care of us!

I just wanted to share this with you all, as well. I hope the Lord is blessing you in big and little ways today!

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness; come into His presence with singing!

Know that the Lord is God.
It is He that made us, and we are His;
we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name!

For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations!

May the Good Lord continue to bless you and your family and meet your every need. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen
:signofcross:

God is good!

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Thank you for the prayers and for praising the Lord with me! May the Lord bless you all, as well!

Dear Nicole,

Doesn’t this just show you how in control God is!! I was so upset, angry and frustrated praying for my daughter to conceive. When I thought all hope was lost, He not only sends us the baby we were praying for, He sends us TWO !! Identical twins!! You can never outdo the Lord! Praise be His Holy Name!!!

😃

O Lord, help us to see and thank You for the many kindnesses you show us. Let them always remind us of Your tender loving care, even in the smallest things in our lives.

Thankyou for sharing your beautiful story

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
