Thankful

I thank God for the fact that yesterday worked out in the end end despite it all. I got up late for work and was kicking myself for sleeping in. However, as I was getting ready, I became very ill (will spare these forums the details…) and had I been “on time” this surely would have happened to me while on the highway. A big ovarian cyst ruptured and it was incredibly painful. I was worried about missing work, because I had some things that morning that would be hard to reschedule. After calling in and saying I would be late but I would make the one appointment that was vital, I got a call a few minutes later telling me that person just called to cancel. Thank goodness…

I was also, amazingly, able to get a doctor’s appointment on a Saturday. The doctor confirmed that it was a big cyst that ruptured and caused all the other violent symptoms and nothing worse so I went home to rest and I have been recovering all weekend.

It was awful, and I hate getting them, but if it’s going to happen anyway it worked out as best as possible.
