I have just sent you a PM with the link to @Tis_Bearself’s new website.

Happy New Year!

Thank you, and a Happy New Year to you too, @Greenfields! Only about five hours left of 2020 for you, is that right?

Three and a half hours till midnight ,how’s the time over there ?

I think the last few of us at present span quite a distance 🙂
I’ve joined St.Isadore’s .

Rose, I’m so glad to have the chance to talk to you again! I truly admire you, and I always enjoyed reading your posts. The Lounge grew and grew, and everyone posted in the welcome thread you started ❤️

Thank you for your prayers.
I had no idea you were Rose.
I have wondered how you have fared since you left CAF Mk1
God bless you always and in all things.
Please God 2021 will be brighter for us all

There are quite a number of us Australians, and many more over the years.
Rose was the first person in the Regular’s Lounge, and when I arrived as fourth person, there was a Canadian and an Argentinian already present with Rose, but soon after we trail-blazed, American members quickly out-numbered us.

Our thanks to our American cousins for making Catholic Answers forums available to so many of us non-Americans around the world.

Were it not for this forum my eldest son would not have the beautiful, loving, gentle wife he found through CAF. But there are many stories in the past. of couple who found their partners in CAF.
There are many people who have been guided, comforted, enlightened, and who have simply felt less alone because of CAF members’ love, support, and sometimes, their wisdom.
There is inevitably a sadness for those who may not find their way to cameraderie, support, enlightenment, guidance and prayer.

I joined early in 2008, and do feel sadness that Catholic Answers Forums is finally to be no more.
God bless and guide all those who need support and prayer in the years ahead.
God bless you old and new friends, those who have died, those who left long ago but whom we still wonder about, and pray for, and miss, and whose names are no longer ever mentioned.

Hey Lou2u
your words are so sweet. I have truly enjoyed reading your posts over the years.

I am so glad the lounge grew and grew. That welcome thread must be so large now!

Happy New Year.

@Trishie I stayed pretty quiet, not wanting to lose this link, today I am glad, it has given me a chance to reconnect with you wonderful people again.
Life has been a bit trying this year, as it must have been everywhere. It strengthens our faith 🙏

LateranBasilica is already signed up on our new forum (for some time) and in addition I have requested that they change their username there back to the old familiar one they used on CAF for a long time.

Happy new year Rose! I just looked at the welcome thread - over 8 thousand posts! Glad to hear you’re at the other forum too, I don’t want to lose touch again!

My gosh, 8000. It has been a productive lounge. See you on the other forum.
