There are quite a number of us Australians, and many more over the years.
Rose was the first person in the Regular’s Lounge, and when I arrived as fourth person, there was a Canadian and an Argentinian already present with Rose, but soon after we trail-blazed, American members quickly out-numbered us.
Our thanks to our American cousins for making Catholic Answers forums available to so many of us non-Americans around the world.
Were it not for this forum my eldest son would not have the beautiful, loving, gentle wife he found through CAF. But there are many stories in the past. of couple who found their partners in CAF.
There are many people who have been guided, comforted, enlightened, and who have simply felt less alone because of CAF members’ love, support, and sometimes, their wisdom.
There is inevitably a sadness for those who may not find their way to cameraderie, support, enlightenment, guidance and prayer.
I joined early in 2008, and do feel sadness that Catholic Answers Forums is finally to be no more.
God bless and guide all those who need support and prayer in the years ahead.
God bless you old and new friends, those who have died, those who left long ago but whom we still wonder about, and pray for, and miss, and whose names are no longer ever mentioned.
