You just elected Howard Dean. Yeeeaaaahhhh! An archliberal, blue state, anti-religious, secularist, socialist party leader. They are just going to love him down South. You just guaranteed another Republican victory in 4 years. Thanks!

for those of us who still had lingering doubts about leaving the democratic party, which generations of our family proudly supported, this has made our decision much easier, thanks guys.

I used to think I was a Democrat, a cradle Democrat at that. However the party is not the party of my parents or grandparents generation. I enjoyed Zel Miller’s book on the dying party. After spending 4 years as an Independent, I registered as a Republican just to prove a point. I will still feel free to vote for any prolife candidate. As they elect Dean to be party Chairman, and he says they just need to change the language of their party- I am amazed. So they intend to deceive those who think they are still Democrats. It is our job to make sure everyone really understands what they intend to do to our country.

As a registered Republican, I tend to agree with you except the fact that we have the GOP running the country and they are spending like sailors on shore leave, they discuss about national security, BUT refuse to DIRECTLY take on the illegal immigration crisis (YES it is a crisis now) for fear of losing the Hispanic/Latino vote.

I voted for Bush the past two elections, but if things continue the way they are, I will vote third party the next time.

With all due respect to your family, I really wish the party was much more centered. I don’t see it as a good thing for the country to have one mainstream party so far out there.

I hear ya…Southern Cali, Arizona, etc are being overran it seems. 😦
