Thanks for prayer: need more, please!

After my last prayer request, I got a guy to fix up this derelict house…slowly…and my apartment lease is up in a week and the thing isn’t ready and I misplaced my money clip w/atm card, driver’s license, credit card to pay this guy and have overtime this week and am choked with the cares of the world. Hope my health keeps up and my spirits. I haven’t relaxed in three years. Praise God I have this computer prayer link. Keep praying if you don’t hear from me, please, dear souls. I ask God to reward you with the knowledge of the effect your earnest prayers have in my life, for which I thank Him.

I can honestly testify that you’re prayers are mighty and have moved this thing along at a faster pace than I thought possible and I do ask most humbly for more prayer, please. My alcoholic pot smoking roomie is getting louder and weirder and I want this transition to be wonderful, please God. Pray that I stay in prayer, too, and my thanks for your help and God’s will be done.

Canticle Ecclesiasticus 36

A prayer for Jerusalem, the holy city

Lord, show me the light of your mercies.
God of all, have mercy on us, take notice of us,
and show us the light of your mercies.
Make the nations fear you, who have not sought you out,
make them know that there is no God except you,
let them tell of your wonders.
 
Lord Jesus Christ,
nordskoven is challanged and distressed,
and I pray that You will grant him
the grace of inner Peace.
As You commanded the storm winds at sea to be calm,
command the storms in his life to be calmed.
Give nordskoven the patience he needs
to cope with the burdens and anxieties of his life.
Grant him the strength to better deal with his problems,
and the understanding to be more tolerant
and kind to others.
Teach nordskoven to seek after Your will
which alone brings peace of mind
and peace of heart.

Lord, may Nordskoven persevere in faith and keep praying. Help him to get his apartment finished and please help him to find his belongings. May he place all of his confidence in your merciful love and be totally abandoned to your merciful love. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
