Thanksgiving and Continued Prayers

I want to thank everyone who ever offered a prayer for me, especially the last few days! If you haven’t seen my other prayer threads, I was offered an interview at my university to be a Student Assistant on Monday and then received a job offer on Tuesday. Everything is working beautifully and I feel truly blessed. I’ve suffered some real hardships in my life dealing with depression, anxiety and even PTSD (I still have depression but the anxiety and PTSD has subsided). Fortunately, through therapy and the right meds, I have found stability and I am a full-time student in a program I LOVE and I’m on the road to graduating in Fall 2015! Nothing could be better. I start my new job the same day that the Fall 2014 semester starts and I’m really looking forward to it.

If I could ask for your continued prayers over the next month as I finish up the summer semester and start both the Fall semester and my new job, I’d appreciate it! Thank you so much and God bless! 👍

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Thank you God for giving me another day, another chance to become a better individual, another chance to give and experience love. Thank you God for giving me health, for the food you provide, for the awareness you have awaken in me…Thank you for the energy that feeds my soul, the sun that warms our bodies and the air that fills our lungs… Because of you I believe in the good without the bad and the ugly, because of you I am learning to love and accept myself, because of you I believe in believing. My source, stay connected to me today and always, for I need you in order to fullfil my spiritual tasks…God, show me how to love myself, to be able to love others. Help me become the type of person that I would like to befriend, help me forgive myself and forgive others… God, make me a channel of your mercy and help me understand. I thank you God for giving me another day, another unused opportunity to do it right. Keep us all close to you and listen to our prayers.Amen.

Well, I’ve received my work schedule for the Fall semester AND filled out the necessary HR paperwork! Everything is official so, now, I just have to wait until the Fall semester begins to start work! Thank you, everyone, for your prayers! 🙂
