Please join in with me in giving thanks to God for the new priest who’s been assigned to our parish. He is coming to help our current pastor to serve our growing parish. We’ve been with only one priest for almost two years now, and our pastor has been terribly overworked - we have over 4000 families now! But now that the Cardinal has assigned an additional priest, things should be much easier for the parish.

O Lord, we thank you for sending one of your priests to serve our parish family, to lead us in the Paschal Sacrifice and all your holy Sacraments, and to teach us of you through both words and actions. Please protect our two priests, and help those young men who have a vocation to the priesthood in hearing your call and in their discernment. Through Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Lord, please guide this newly assigned priest, that he might always be filled with many graces that help him help the faithful find the eternal banquet of peace and joy. Bless this whole parish, pastor included, with many graces for faith, hope, love, and joy. May they serve as a shining light amidst darkness always. Please send angels to help with this intention. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

:highprayer: Heavenly Father, we do add our prayers of Thanksgiving for the new priest for Beleg’s parish; give both he and the older priest compassion for the people of God; patience, understanding, humility, and bless them with joy, love and peace!!!

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Offering thanks with you and praying that the Lord may continue to bless your Parish.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Such a joyous occasion! May God bless and guide your new priest. 🙂

Lord,
make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that
we receive, it is in pardoning
that we are pardoned, and it
is in dying that we are born
to eternal life. Amen.
