I hadn’t heard of this program before your post, but in doing a search I found this from the Archdiocese of Denver. If Denver approves it must be above-board.

Our Parish is in the second sememster of this program with a weekly attendance of about 125 men. The first semester was very good and the second semester is even better. Feel free to PM me and I can give you the contact infformation of some of the core team members at my parish.
