In Psalm 48, what is the significance of the mention of “that wreck of ships from Tarshish”?
 
I understand that Tarshish ships were large merchant vessels that carried heavy cargo. They are mentioned multiple times in Isaiah. In the context of the psalm it seems to refer to the might of God to smash these great ships with ease.
