The ten commandments…
  1. I am the LORD your God:
    you shall not have
    strange Gods before me.
  2. You shall not take
the name of the LORD your God in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the LORD’S Day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness
    against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet
    your neighbor’s wife.
  10. You shall not covet
    your neighbor’s goods.
this is a list of the 10 commandments. I believe in islam, many of these are broken.
You are allowed to commit adultery, your allowed to murder, your allowed to covet your neighbours wife etc.
Would muslims like to prove me wrong otherwise?
Dont just come on here and say im spreading lies, we all know the basics of islam. I would like for you to explain why islam is allowed to break the Lords Commandments.
Thanks

Let us start from the first one. Pl . let me know how Muslims are violating this first or most important command & Christians are following / obeying this ? Thanks.

I don’t believe Muslims, Christians or Jews violate this commandment in their doctrines of faith. IMO, they all worship the one True God. Individuals of each of these faiths may violate the commandment in their individual lives if they make money/possessions/another person/drugs/sex/etc. the most important thing in their lives, but each faith believes in the One and Only True God.

One down, 9 to go! 😃

Muslims and Jews don’t believe Jesus is God however

So how can you say we all believe in the One and Only True God if they don’t agree on what or who God is?

Jay is correct. I suspect he’s been listening to the Catholic Church 😉

We believe Jesus is God Incarnate. Not God is Jesus Incarnate. Hence, those who believe in ONE God believe in God, since, logically, God is the only living God. Not everyone may have the fullness of truth, but everyone may worship the Almighty.

This is just my opinion. I believe they worship God the Father. They do not know Jesus or the Holy Spirit yet. Those who know Jesus, but reject Him will have to answer for that, but I don’t believe that those who have not had an opportunity to know Him will be punished. My own opinion is that when they die, they will meet Jesus & the Holy Spirit and will then have a chance to accept or reject Him. This is just my own opinion. :o I honestly believe all 3 faiths worship one God, they just have different views/relationships of/with Him.

Sorry, we must have been posting at the same time, but thanks for the affirmation. 🙂

Btw, that should be “she’s been…” - at least last time I checked. 😛 😃

Simple, allah is not YHWH, and allah never claims to be YHWH. It is not amongst allah’s 99 most beautiful names. So muslims are putting a false god before YHWH.

Christians worship YHWH.

Was that really supposed to be funny? I must say I’m surprised that a Catholic would say something so rude and make fun of someone else’s belief. Shame on you, seriously.

I AGREE:mad:

No offense, but you obviously don’t know much about Islam. All of the ‘commandments’ listed are actual Islamic teachings, either in the Quran or hadith. (with the exception of the last one - passing gas does invalidate Islamic prayers, but I’m not sure if Muhammad found the smell offensive.) If you would like documentation and sources, I’m sure Eucharisted (or someone else so inclined) will provide them.

I agree with you, but I dont care! Its offensive and as Catholics I dont understand why we should post immature stuff like that. We all know that was immature and offensive. I hate reading things like that on here.

Muslim Woman please forgive us for our rude behaviour.

I must just have a different sense of humor. 🤷 I didn’t find it rude or offensive. I actually thought it was clever because it mirrors the actual Ten Commandments, but with Islamic teachings instead. (again with the exception of the last one.) If Muslims find their own teachings rude or offensive, then they should do something to change them. 🤷

Also, having read many of Eucharisted’s posts, I don’t think his intention was to be rude or offensive, but I’m sure he will speak to that himself at some point. 🙂
