Is not the teaching of scripture.

“But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.” Matthew 20:22

“Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?” John 18:11

O CHRIST, what burdens bowed Thy head!
Our load was laid on Thee;
Thou stoodest in the sinner’s stead —
To bear all ill for me.
A victim led, Thy blood was shed;
Now there’s no load for me.

2 Death and the curse were in our cup —
O Christ, 'twas full for Thee!
But Thou hast drained the last dark drop,
'Tis empty now for me.
That bitter cup — love drank it up;
Left but the love for me.

3 Jehovah lifted up His rod —
O Christ, it fell on Thee!
Thou wast forsaken of Thy God;
No distance now for me.
Thy blood beneath that rod has flowed:
Thy bruising healeth me.

4 The tempest’s awful voice was heard,
O Christ, it broke on Thee;
Thy open bosom was my ward;
It bore the storm for me.
Thy form was scarred, Thy visage marred;
Now cloudless peace for me.

5 For me, Lord Jesus, Thou hast died,
And I have died in Thee;
Thou’rt risen: my bands are all untied;
And now Thou liv’st in me.
The Father’s face of radiant grace
Shines now in light on me.

Do you actually have a question or a point to make?
You seem to be opening a number of incomprehensible threads!

There is nothing in the Catechism of the Catholic Church on “the 4th cup.” So, I assume it is not official Church teaching but a mere theological speculation.

Since the 4th cup is part of the seder, I don’t think it’s necessary for the catechism to mention it.

I need to clarify my answer.

The seder itself is not directly part of christian doctrine, so the catechism can remain silent on it.

Yes, the Catechism is not about explaining Jewish teaching. The Catechism is in fact silent on many Jewish customs.

Understanding Jewish customs and teachings helps us better understand Catholic teaching of the Bible.

Another example is the woman caught in adultery and about to be stoned. This is the only recorded place in the Bible where Jesus wrote anything. Jesus bent over and wrote in the sand. Jesus bent over and wrote a second time. The Jews knew that only God wrote with his finger. That Jesus wrote twice reflects the two sets of commandment God gave Moses. So this was a clear sign that Jesus was God.

Interesting.

God uses mankind to accomplish His work … in most cases. Also, this gives even more credence to importance of Traditions within Church.

People that claim Sola Scriptora … need to reexamine the sole basis for their beliefs.
