Again, what is the scientific basis of your claim?

Peace

Tim
Who needs scientific basis when there is faith? Yet, God does use science to prove all things, for he does not want me to be ignorant of his ways. Yet, instead of scientists accepting things by faith, they refuse to believe and rely on science. Yet, as science gets more advanced, more and more scientists realize this or that is not a new discovery and they realize God has already been there.

The fingerprints of God are everywhere, they have just been covered over by mans.

How can you trust the written record? You learn to read and interpret it, just like you learn to read and interpret God’s “book of nature.”
When a man is born again, the Word that was once etched in stone becomes written on the fleshly tablets of his heart. So when the man reads the bible, he reads a scripture, believes it, and it is written in his heart.

So God’s “book of nature” is a fake? It sure looks real; maybe it’s faked to look real.

That is a very contradictory statement. First off, God doesn’t use science to prove anything. Second, if what you say is true, if science is good enough for God, why are you a science denier? Doesn’t that make you a God denier?

You know, the science behind the computer you are using wasn’t determined by faith, either. Just good old scientific research. No faith needed.

Hello “heiscominginthe”…I really like your thread, I was just wondering where you read about the experiment they did on the average man. I am trying to tell a non-believer and I just want to have the study to back me up.

Very interesting info!

Thanks!

Then you must accept the doctrine of a flat earth: “The devil took Jesus up onto an exceeding high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them.” (Matthew 4:8) Viewing all the kingdoms of the world from one mountain would be possible only if the world were flat rather than spherical. So, either Matthew is lying about what happened to Jesus, or, more probably, we are not always required to interpret the Bible literally.

StAnastasia

I will answer your Scripture quotation with another verse from Scripture.
"And his coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders " 2Thess 2;9 So Satan would have had enough power to show Jesus the kingdoms of the world, as the Bible states since Satan has the power of Signs and lying wonders . So we would have to conclude that Matthew was not lying and what the Bible said LITERALLY took place on the mountain .

You quoted Scripture to attempt to demonstrate that Scripture is not true |LITERAL ]
Your argument is false.

Satan quoted Scripture to tempt the Lord away from His Mission as Redeemer.

Both of you were wrong.

“For the Word of God is living and efficient and keener than any two-edged sword”
Heb.4:12

So, if the earth is not flat, how was Satan able to show all its kingdoms at once? If the earth is spherical – as moderns science now believes – some kingdoms would be on the exact opposite side of the globe.

Are you saying that God’s book of nature is less reliable than human books of history?
Why do you find that strange when you do the same. The Bible says quite plainly that God created plants, animals, birds “after their kind” but you do not accept that and instead believe that that one “kind” evolved into another “kind”, so you put Darwin’s writings above God’s word and yet sound shocked that I would place Historical accounts, by people on the spot, as more accurate than writings that have given rise to so many different interpretations, beliefs and doctrines.

The “book of nature” is very ancient, and a fascinating read. In the rocks we can read about how God created this universe over a billions-of-years time frame.

He just made a faux pas when He tried to put it in manuscript format.

You are flesh and blood. So naturally this world is real to you. Yet, if God did not create the heavens and earth, or man or beast, then it would no longer be real to you, for you would not exist.

God is spirit and unless a man becomes part of that spirit of truth known as the Holy Spirit, he will only know what he can see, hear, feel, smell and taste.

For to be of the Holy Spirit, a man walks by faith, believing what he cannot see, revealed to him by the Holy Spirit.

Hi,

Am I speaking to Suzy or Billy? It does not matter. I pm’ed you some sites along with my churches home page. This is a multitude of info on our site that debunks evolution and with it we suppy where we get our info. Praise God.

Tim, could it not be said that God is the author, teacher, creator of science.

As for where the computer came from? God made man, man makes computer, thus, God made the computer. For if man had not been created, neither would the computer.

As for my denying science, I deny only that which is contrary to the Word of God.

Have you shared this theory with any pathologists or cardiologists? I’m wondering if any of them have noticed this heart writing of which you speak. Or is this one of those metaphor things?

I quite agree.

God is the creator of everything.Did God create the science of evolution? Cosmology? Geology? Do you deny His creation?

Peace

Tim
Did he create atheism, evolutionism, scientism, modernism or liberalism?

So you disagree with heiscominginthe that God created science?

Peace

Tim
We know God created all that is good. Our knowledge of the totality of truth is limited and always will be, otherwise we would be God… Good science is true. Bad science is not. Bad philosophy is not. Bad reasoning is not. Man can not arrive at total truth without help from God. He does this by coming to meet man as Revelation.

So God created good science but not evolution or geology? What is good science and what are your criteria for identifying good science?
