This question comes from another thread that I feel deserves its own thread.
I have heard many people mention that the true church had to go underground when Rome legalized christianity and persecuted the real christians. The real christian church then re emerged during the reformation.
My questions are
It is such a popular theory of the “lost church” and I would like to know more about it
thanks

My questions are
- are the beliefs of these reformed christians the same as the beliefs of the christians of the first three centuries before the apostasy? Please provide evidence
- Which church has the true beliefs of the early christians?
Which ones don’t?
