John could have been 33 when Jesus ascended to Heaven and died in the year 100AD at the age of 100–it is possible–I just don’t think it is likely.

Just think if John was 18 and all the other disciples were 30 or more.

I don’t know if that is the case–all I’m saying its that Jesus who is God Could have called a younger man to be one of his disciples.

Since tradition states that John died in the year 100AD–him being younger than 33 when Jesus ascended into Heaven just makes sense.
If you look at John’s life, sent off in exile several times on an island off of Greece (?). It would have been extremely difficult for a man in his 70’s, even more so for a man in his 90’s.
