I agree, Mr. Trump made a mistake in asking Randall that question. I suspect that Donald was in a very good mood, feeling that he would hire both, and he forgot that Randall might have a different perspective on the matter. Or he didn’t even consider the possiblity. As it went down, it made Mr. Trump look a little foolish.
I don’t know… it could be that he was looking for a different perspective from Randall on Rebecca and Randall’s unwillingness to continue with her in some form gave him that insight. Randall seems to really like Rebecca and want her to success, but just honestly feels she isn’t ready and that’s what he based his decision on. He also didn’t say don’t hire here ever - he said right here, right now, there’s only 1 winner and the winner is hired. He didn’t tie with Rebecca, so he shouldn’t have to share in the winner cup.
**I didn’t get the impression Rebecca was nodding her head in disrespect as much as a complete lack of surprise at Randall’s decision. **
And no questions to his subordinates about who he should hire. It was his decision and he clearly wanted them both.
I’m a little surprised a man of Trump’s experience and knowledge could have made such a mistake.
I don’t agree with that at all and Trump has been clear through all these shows that he doesn’t either. He makes it clear a large part of his success is because he’s smart enough to higher the best and then listen to the advice the best give him. What’s the point of busting your hiney to get the best people to work for you, if you don’t consult them?? How’s that smart or even good business sense??
