Strange to read this coming from someone who posted the following:

Clearly written in the Bible:

"This, then, is how you should pray: “'Our Father in heaven” …
Matt 6:9

“ask in my name”
John 13:14

“Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”
John 16:24

“pray to the Lord”
Matt 9:38

I’ve already pointed out (twice) that nowhere in John 13:14 do the words “ask in my name” appear - not even in the King James version.
Typo.
Correction;)
John 14:14

TY! BTW, somehow I missed your post about Oregon. Yes - I live on the Oregon coast, a few minutes away from the beautiful Pacific. My spirit and heart have always lived in the Pacific Northwest although I was born and grew up outside Los Angeles (boo!)

My favorite places are Yachats, Gold Beach, the areas inland from Newport and Waldport, and the little towns like Deadwood and Scottsburg.

I know why it’s called “God’s Country.” The beauty is overwhelming and the Pacific is absolutely breathtaking. Sometimes I take my dog to the beach and find parts of old wooden ships that broke apart. I can find huge bolts still holding pieces of wood together. I find agates, fossils, petrified wood, sand dollars, starfish, and miscellaneous shells. And sometimes I see sea lions swimming in the jetty and up into the river.

I thought about leaving because of my health. I can’t leave. This is my home - the entire Pacific Northwest. I love it.

Because of the economy I’m going to be camping this summer, for the first time by myself. I’m going to be finding some new areas. There are so many. I have a national pass so I only have to pay half-price and I’m going to buy a county pass, too.

Sorry I missed your post. I’m not sure how that happened. Usually I zoom in on those types of posts right away and start writing and writing and writing about my home.

Here he is. Hey I was gonna send out the “Saint” Bernard with the Coco to make sure your were alright. 😉
I LOVE St. Bernard (not the canine version, although they’re pretty cool, too). St. Bernard said once that the four cardinal virtues are humility, humility, humility, and humility.

Very wise man. And now in Heaven with God forever.

Good idea - that cocoa.

How does that saying go for people who want things done yesterday? Something like “Your failure to plan does not constitute an emergency for me”. :yup:
