John 14:14
TY! BTW, somehow I missed your post about Oregon. Yes - I live on the Oregon coast, a few minutes away from the beautiful Pacific. My spirit and heart have always lived in the Pacific Northwest although I was born and grew up outside Los Angeles (boo!)
My favorite places are Yachats, Gold Beach, the areas inland from Newport and Waldport, and the little towns like Deadwood and Scottsburg.
I know why it’s called “God’s Country.” The beauty is overwhelming and the Pacific is absolutely breathtaking. Sometimes I take my dog to the beach and find parts of old wooden ships that broke apart. I can find huge bolts still holding pieces of wood together. I find agates, fossils, petrified wood, sand dollars, starfish, and miscellaneous shells. And sometimes I see sea lions swimming in the jetty and up into the river.
I thought about leaving because of my health. I can’t leave. This is my home - the entire Pacific Northwest. I love it.
Because of the economy I’m going to be camping this summer, for the first time by myself. I’m going to be finding some new areas. There are so many. I have a national pass so I only have to pay half-price and I’m going to buy a county pass, too.
Sorry I missed your post. I’m not sure how that happened. Usually I zoom in on those types of posts right away and start writing and writing and writing about my home.
