Thanks again! I own that series and am a big fan of Fr. Barron! He is amazing, and I love everything he produces. I am also a fan of others such as Peter Kreeft, Scott Hahn, CS Lewis, B16, Jimmy Akin, etc. and these wonderful minds (or minds like theirs), coupled with a few great animators, could produce the powerful communication tool I am imagining. It has certainly been done–just not by Catholics for the faith (or I have yet to find it).

Again, perhaps my lack of clarity is at fault here, but the idea is that creativity applied in the use of analogy (such as in the though provoking and creative work of CS Lewis), imagery, and apologetics have yet to meet. And when it does-when Truth is expressed in this contemporary and accessible way- it could have a profound impact…
When I explain the Catholic faith to atheists or anti-Catholic Protestants, I find I have to speak indirectly, in the form of analogy or parable, or with some form of visual (usually with a pen on a napkin…)

Fr Schmitz is great–so is Chris Stefanick. They are both wonderful and imaginative communicators. They are exactly the kind of thinkers that one wound want to employ!

I really love Bishop Barron. Even when he talks about things I would have considered challenging to my cultural values (as an adult going through R.C.I.A.) he is intellectually honest, humble, tactful, and loving. If only everyone could present Catholicism the same way!
