He cannot sin, contradict Himself, make a mistake, fail, tempt anyone with evil or *be tempted *with evil, etc
I agree with you in all, but to let you know, Jesus in His humanity was tempted in every way just like we do, BUT never sinned.

To say that God could deliver salvation, and waive the just penalty of sin, by the click of His hand, totally denies the *absolute necessity *
of Christ’s sacrificial death (much less devalues it). You have a real probem here and I think you’d better talk to one of your apologists because I don’t think even they would agree. But if they do, then you’ve all got a real problem.

KINSMAN,

I don’t totally deny the necessity of Christ’s sacrifice. What I am saying, in my opinion, is that God could have done it in a different way to save us, not just thru an *absolute *way of shedding His Son’s blood to deliver salvation. I don’t disagree with His Son’s sacrifice, that’s His plan from eternity to eternity. He chose that sacrifice by coming into the world in the flesh and died on the cross because He loves us–“no love is greater than this, for a man to lay down his life for his friend”–and that’s what He did, not just to appease His justice and deliver salvation. The whole drama of salvation is based on love.

Adam wasn’t born, he was created. He BECAME a sinner by transgressing a definite commandment. The rest of us are BORN sinners, being IN ADAM.
Excellent. Now, how is a newborn baby or a child prior to the age of reason saved from the sin into which he is born?

I second to that. It appears Kinsman is agreeing with the dogma of original sin in Catholic teaching.:clapping:

How is it that “reasonable people” can say “Jesus Is Lord” from their hearts , knowing He is both perfect Man and perfect God, and they say His mother was a sinner?? If Mary was not assumed into Heaven, I pray you, sir, tell me where She is laid to rest, that I might go and pay homage at Her graveside.

Scripture doesn’t tell us. Many speculate, but ultimately we must leave that in the hands of an infinitely holy God. But what He clearly has revealed is that salvation is by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8-10). Paul states elsewhere: "But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing upon the man to whom God reckons righteousness apart from works" (Rom. 4:5-6).

Justin, are you that ungodly man?

Sorry folks, I’ll be off this forum for about a month or so. I have some pressing issues to handle. I’m sure you’re all broken up over this.😃 Until then my prayer is that God may open your minds to the Scriptures that you may come to a full understanding of what it means to no longer be in Adam but now fully in Christ, the *Last Adam, *made righteous (Rom. 5:19).

So long,
Kinsman
