My husband and I went through it several years ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. Not only is it all Catholic but it is set up so that any income level as well as age can live there. The location is remote and that even appeals to me.

Wonderful article and this town is definitely on my bucket list for travel in the near future. My first thoughts were about moving there and living a life immersed in the beautiful Catholic faith with like minded people. It would be a wonderful life for sure. However at this stage of my life, probably not going to happen. I decided to learn more about this town and see how I can help from my home in AR instead. I feel that the presence of holy Catholics in every town is sorely needed too, and since Im already at retirement age, I can give more time and energy to grow in faith where I’m planted, taking on volunteer work to help those in my town while modeling Catholic charity and values. This town of Ave Maria would be a wonderful place to bring up a family for sure. God Bless Tom Monoghan (sp?) and his ministry. I will pray for the success of this project and hopefully see many more such places springing up around the world for the glory of God…

I’m the same way. I wish there were more towns like this one.
