Merry Christmas!
I would not be suprised if many of us had questions about God being in human form as an infant and youth. We are taught by scripture that Jesus grew in wisdom.
In pondering this, I had some thoughts that perhaps others can comment on.
I thought that perhaps Jesus as the divine Son was in no way limited in His knowledge, divinity, and power even though in the form of the infant. The infant ***as a human ***however was not yet fully mindful of His mission. As a man he grew to become aware of the fullness of His mission. My thesis is that the Divine Human nature was spiritually guided by the Divine Son as one person. The human nature was perfect but not fully aware and the divine Son was always fully in power and knew that he was in the form of a human nature that needed to “grow”.
I have know idea if I am right. What is our theology regarding this?
Thank you and God bless you.
